Employment disputes in Abu Dhabi
Identify the employment regime before assessing a claim. Private-sector employment, government service and other specially regulated relationships should not automatically be treated alike. State whether you are the employee or employer and identify the dates of the relationship and the disputed action.
Pay, termination and end-of-service records
Bring the contract, salary and transfer records, relevant notices, termination correspondence, leave records and any complaint or settlement. An unpaid-wages claim and a dispute about termination involve different questions. The description “unfair dismissal” does not itself establish the legal conclusion. The applicable regime, reason, evidence and required procedure must be examined before calculating entitlements or selecting a forum.
Documents that explain the employment dispute
Collect the contract and amendments, wage records, transfers, notices, correspondence and any complaint details. Identify the employer and the legal framework governing the relationship before comparing the case with another person's experience. Separate wage issues, termination issues, documents and other disputed obligations.
Prepare the calculation and its basis
Set out the disputed periods, the wage figure relied on, amounts actually paid and the record supporting each item. Highlight disagreements about the start or end date, wages or reason for termination and attach the related correspondence. A total without its calculation basis is insufficient for a useful assessment.
