The dismissal of a report or an acquittal does not by itself establish false reporting. Read the reasons and determine what the reporting party knew and presented at the time. Articles 324 and 325 of Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021 address different forms of false reporting, including certain knowingly false allegations, bad-faith accusations and fabricated evidence.
A civil claim has distinct elements
Article 106 of Federal Decree-Law No. 25 of 2025 addresses unlawful exercise of a right when the new Civil Transactions Law applies. Identify the act complained of, the evidence of its unlawfulness, the loss and the causal link. Obtain the available official record, preserve lawfully obtained originals and separate any proven financial or non-material harm from the result of the earlier proceedings.
